Min Young Park, Piano

Korean pianist Min Young Park has gained wide recognition for her artistry, winning top prizes in competitions such as the Chopin National Competition in Korea and the Asia Chopin International Competition in Japan. She has also won multiple concerto competitions and has performed with the Peabody Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Leon Fleisher, the Prime Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Seoul National University Symphony. Min Young has appeared in renowned venues worldwide, including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Seoul Arts Center, Kumho Art Hall, Sejong Arts Center, Salle Marius Ecole, and the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

An avid chamber musician, Min Young has collaborated with distinguished artists and participated in festivals such as Music@Menlo, the Taos Chamber Music Festival, the Bowdoin International Music Festival as a Kaplan Fellowship recipient, and the Aigues-Vives en Musiques Festival in France, among others. She is a graduate of Seoul National University and The Juilliard School, where she studied with Ick-Choo Moon and Choong-Mo Kang. She recently completed her Doctor of Musical Arts at the Peabody Conservatory under the tutelage of Yong Hi Moon. As a dedicated educator, Min Young currently serves as a piano faculty member and lecturer for the Musicianship Class for Pianists at the Peabody Preparatory.
